Robert McCorkle
Robert McCorkle, 74 years old, a pioneer resident of Clay county, died at the home of his son, Henry McCorkle, in Excelsior Springs, Friday night. Mr. McCorkle was born in 1844, when his parents were living on a farm which is now the Glothlin addition to Excelsior Springs. A part of the old house is yet standing. Funeral services were held Sunday.
